Summer

I realized this week that school starts in a month! Where has summer gone!

This summer all 3 Curry kids went to camp! Collin moved up to our middle school ministry at church and went to camp in Texas this year. Paige went to children's camp, and Austin went with her to help with the boys. Then Austin went to camp WOW.

Collin and Clayton loaded up and ready for a great week at camp!

Emily, Lily, Paige, and Abi ready for camp!

Austin and Mr. Aaron Gamble ready to head to children's camp.
Mr. gamble will be Austin's algebra teacher this year. I need to be doing more praying for this man! hopefully Austin will grasp algebra better than I ever did!

As a family we took in a Naturals game. It was a lot of fun! The Carter's and the Goodwin's were there too.

All the kids minus Austin and his girlfriend (they were to cool to get their picture made with the chicken)

15 at 16 and a Half

Gary Don and I finally took our 15 anniversary trip, in May of 2011! We will have been married 17 years in November! Better a little late than never! We wen to Cancun for 4 days, and it was wonderful!

I could sit and look at this view all day!

We spent all of Tuesday and Thursday either here or......

Here!

Dinner Tuesday night

Wednesday we took a snorkeling excursion. We made two stops. One was an inlet where we saw sting rays, and lots of fish. They said there were see turtles there, but we didn't see any. The next stop was to an under ground river. The water was freezing!!!! And so clear! As we stood on the platform getting our instructions, the water looked about 5 feet deep, but when we got in we realized that you couldn't touch the bottom!

After the cave, we had lunch and then got to play! They had a platform you could jump off off, a short zip line, and hammocks for relaxing!

The building we had lunch in.

Gary Don and Jesus! Jesus was our guide for our day snorkeling! He was so much fun! He called Gary Don his very sexy brother!

Wednesday night before dinner.

Thursday night before dinner.

We saw these little guys daily! Made me glad our room was on the 3rd floor! really don't think I would like to wake up to one in my room!

There were statues like this all over the resort!

We had a great trip!

So thankful for Mimi and Papa keeping the kids so we could get away!

Baseball

After some debate this spring Collin decided to play baseball again.
He is again playing catcher.

He's team has not had that great of a season, but along with that comes a few really good life lessons! Collin is extremely competitive, so this has been a hard season for him! He often tells me that he is not going to play baseball next year.....I guess we will just have to wait and see!

PULL!

Austin sot trap again this year for our school. Shooting is something he really enjoys doing and is very good at!

His squad placed 3rd in regionals and advanced to the State competition. The State tournament is a NCAA March maddness style bracket. You start the day with 64 teams and end with 1 winner.

At State they made it to the Elite Eight! They placed 5th in the state after being beat out by another squad from our school! That squad went on to win!!

Gary Don took off work to take Austin to both tournaments! Great Father son bonding time!

Projects

It all started with widening the doorway between the dinning room and the kitchen! That meant we would need to fix the tile around the new doorway.... I have always hated the white tile......so we decided to bust it up!

The new going in.

The tile is almost completely down, we just need to grout.

The next project is the cabinets.....

We have these color samples on 4 of our living room walls......
Not sure we like any of them!?!?

We do projects like these in very slow stages so don't hold your breath waiting for the completed photos!

Easter 2011

After church on Easter we headed to Mimi and Papa's for a yummy lunch! Even though it was cold and rainy we took a few pictures!

Daddy's girl!

When did he get so tall? He is just about as tall as his Dad now!

I love this picture of Collin! It is hard to get a good picture of him. He hates to have his picture made, a rarely has a real smile.

Snaggle tooth!

Cousins! These two are fuuny together!

Sisters!
Can't believe Haley will graduate in a few short weeks!
Just imagine one starting college in the fall and one starting Kindergarten!
oops didn't realize Addison was cut out of the picture!

The oldest grandkids!

Paige Elizabeth Curry

On March 29, 2011 Paige Elizabeth turned 7!!! (that is how far behind I am on blogging!!)

That also means it has been 7 years since our family made the decision to move to Greenwood from Palestine Tx. Gary Don accepted a job on Sunday night and Paige was born on Monday!

Proof that deep down Collin really does love his sister! Notice Collin's
hair, he always wanted it "spiked up"! Now he will barely let me touch it!
Our first picture as a family of 5!

Here is Paige on her 1st day of kindergarten.

This year Paige wanted her party at Bell Park. (I loaded the pictures out of order) We painted clay pots and planted marigolds in them for the girls to take home.

Paige and Caylee Ciesla

The silly birthday crew!

Our beautiful birthday girl! Happy Birthday Paige! I can't imagine our family with out you!!
