All Dreesed Up!

Somehow we convinced this boy to try cotillion this year! This is a BIG deal, considering he will only wear gym shorts and t-shirts everyday to school. Dressing up for church means the shirt can not be worn to school! but he is doing it, and I think he actually really likes it!

They meet once a month, learn social etiquette, manners, and dancing.

When they boys arrive they have to wait out front and walk the girls into the building.

The first month they learned the electric slide, and a few basic dance steps. All of this dancing was done solo, but they were told that next month they would dance with a partner.

October was the Masquerade Parade!

Collin went as Clark Kent!

As promised the month before the boys had to ask the girls to dance! They danced the Waltz.
There are about 3 girls for every boy! The boys stay very busy on the dance floor!

Jack, Collin, Austin, Not sure, and Cade!

Even though they might not admit it I think these boys had a great time!

Collin and Mason! Mason won the costume contest!

Collin and Evan!

Next month is the Thanksgiving Feast. They will have a five course meal, and learn proper table etiquette.

Paige's Turn

After having to sit through to many practices, games, and performances of her brothers Paige found something just for her! The last several weeks she had been attending a volleyball skills clinic in Fort Smith! She really had a great time and learned a lot! The clinic was put together by the Fort Smith Juniors Club. The coach who worked with them was great with the younger kids! It was very well organized, and the drills were age appropriate.

Addison's age group met before Paige's so they got to see each other for a few minutes each week.

This is Paige and Lindsey! I think they both really enjoyed the clinic and are looking forward to doing it again!

Blur

All of September and now most of October has past in a blur for the Curry Clan!

Most Saturday's the Curry boy's both have the schedule set for us before the day begins!

We usually begin our day early with a cross country race. Austin is running AWESOME this year.

These pictures were taken at the Siloam Springs XC Meet.

I think that Austin has medaled in every meet but one this year. This past week he placed 1st!!!(I will have to get the pics off my phone)

With XC you never know what the course or the weather will be like! This year we have been blessed with really good weather so far.

Conference meet is Oct 29! Good Luck Austin!

The other half of our Saturday is spent at the football field!

This is the first year in our league that you actually kickoff, and Collin is our teams kicker. He is also playing quarterback again on offense, and linebacker on defense.

The season hasn't gone so great in regards to wins and loses, but the boys are playing hard, improving, and having fun!

Collin has scored a few touchdowns, and kicked a couple of extra points too!

Our last regular season game is Oct. 22nd then it is on to the play offs! Good Luck #12!

Even though our schedule is super crazy busy, I wouldn't trade it for anything! I love watching my boys compete in sports that they love!

Life Group Fun!

our life group had a fellowship at Shadow Lake a couple of weeks ago. In spite of the heat we had a great time! Great food, great friends, and great fun!

Poor Mr. Karl never even got to take a break from driving the boat! My kids sure had a blast!

Collin loves to tube! Paige has decided that it is pretty fun!

Gary Don even got in on the fun!

Poor John, Gary Don landed on him a few times!

Running man

Austin is the only Curry that ran in the Freedom Fest 5k. He ran a great race!

He placed 3rd in his age group!

Austin is a great runner! He has decided this year not to play football, and focus on his running. He is running twice a day to prepare for cross country this fall!

Summer

I realized this week that school starts in a month! Where has summer gone!

This summer all 3 Curry kids went to camp! Collin moved up to our middle school ministry at church and went to camp in Texas this year. Paige went to children's camp, and Austin went with her to help with the boys. Then Austin went to camp WOW.

Collin and Clayton loaded up and ready for a great week at camp!

Emily, Lily, Paige, and Abi ready for camp!

Austin and Mr. Aaron Gamble ready to head to children's camp.
Mr. gamble will be Austin's algebra teacher this year. I need to be doing more praying for this man! hopefully Austin will grasp algebra better than I ever did!

As a family we took in a Naturals game. It was a lot of fun! The Carter's and the Goodwin's were there too.

All the kids minus Austin and his girlfriend (they were to cool to get their picture made with the chicken)
